Halstead: New bus routes for villages

NEW rural bus routes will be launched next month.
Villagers in the Halstead area can use the five services to visit Braintree, Sudbury and Haverhill from April 19.
They will run once a week, with one outward and one inbound journey on the day of operation. There will be a Monday route, The Colne Valley Community Bus, to Braintree, serving the Colnes; a Tuesday bus to Haverhill serving Tilbury Juxta Clare, Little Yeldham, the Belchamps, Ovington and Ashen; a Tuesday bus to Haverhill serving Little London, Cornish Hall End, Stambourne, Toppesfield, Ridgewell and Birdbrook; a Wednesday bus to Sudbury serving Liston, Foxearth, Pentlow, the Belchamps and Borley; and a Wednesday bus to Sudbury serving Pebmarsh Cross End, Alphamstone, Lamarsh, and the Hennys.
