8:53am Friday 3rd September 2010
A young mother who is battling cancer for the second time celebrated a £2000 fundraiser.
Lucy Hoskin, 23, cracked open the champagne as nine players finished a 12 hour dart marathon to raise money for the hospice she attends.
Her mother, Sally Hoskin, who was one of the players, organised the event after Lucy, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in February.
The mother of two-year-old Jack underwent an operation in April but found another tumor five weeks later.
She is currently undergoing radioactive treatment and is awaiting a scan to decide whether she has a biopsy or operation.
