Halstead: More GCSE top grades for schools

The number of pupils getting top GCSE grades has jumped at Halstead schools.
Latest Government league tables were released yesterday and figures show Ramsey College and Hedingham School have raised the percentage of pupils achieving A* to C grades.
Ramsey College, in Colne Road, Halstead, is heading in the right direction with 44 per cent of GCSE pupils gaining at least five A* to C grades, including English and Maths.
